These terms are between you and Avery Romain, of British Columbia, Canada ("Ourdays", "we", "us"). The service is at ourdays.ca. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Ourdays.
1. It's a beta
- Ourdays is in private beta. Features may change, break or disappear, and we may reset or remove beta data with reasonable notice.
- Everything is free during the private beta. We won't charge you anything, and we don't ask for a credit card. If we introduce paid plans later (for example, a Family plan in CAD), we'll tell you first, and you'll have to opt in. You'll never be moved onto a paid plan automatically.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, and a parent, guardian or other adult planning outings.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Children don't need accounts. Add them to your family by first name and age.
- Only invite people you know, and only with their permission.
3. Suggestions are a starting point, not a guarantee
Ourdays suggests real places using public and third-party data (for example, OpenStreetMap and Google Places) together with your family's details. We work hard to:
- suggest only real places inside your driving range,
- show real distances,
- show a price only when the venue has published one, and
- exclude a venue for an access need only when we've confirmed it doesn't meet that need.
But opening hours, prices, accessibility, conditions, closures and safety can change, and our data can be wrong or out of date. Always check with the venue before you go, especially about accessibility, age limits, water and trail conditions, tides, weather and fire bans. You're responsible for your family's safety and supervision. Budget totals are estimates.
4. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse Ourdays. For example, don't try to access other families' data, scrape the venue catalogue, overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or post unlawful or abusive content in notes or feedback.
5. Your content and feedback
- Your family details, plans, ratings and notes stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Ourdays for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Ourdays without paying you or owing you anything.
6. Our content
The app, its design and the Ourdays name belong to us. Venue information and photos belong to their respective owners and licensors and are credited where shown.
7. Ending things
- You can stop using Ourdays at any time and delete your account from the account menu (Delete account), or ask us to at averyromain07@gmail.com.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or end the beta. If we do, we'll try to give notice.
8. Liability
Ourdays is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We're not responsible for venues, third-party services, or what happens on your outings. If we're found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which is $0 during the free beta), except where the law doesn't allow that limit. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that can't be waived.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will email testers about significant changes. Questions: averyromain07@gmail.com.
